Description: Soft Start Controller.

Application: Reduced Voltage Starting of Three Phase A C Motors.

Features:

   PROTECTION:-----1) 2-millisecond Fuses are standard with every SENTROL-EM3.
                   2) Vbo Clamping, integral to the power circuit design, provides
                      Transient Voltage Surge Protection for the semiconductors.
                   3) Natural Convection Cooling of the integral heatsink chassis
                      allows a 50 degree-C Operating Temperature Rating at Full Load
                      without fans or thermal derating.
                   4) Standard Duty units use Class-10 Overload Relays, 
                      High Inrush units come standard with a Class-20 Overload Relay.
   SMART:----------1) Operates from any control input from 95-220VAC, or
                      to operate in line with existing across-the-line starter.
                   2) Adjustable Starting Torque.
                   3) Adjustable Acceleration Time.
                   4) Adjustable Deceleration Time.
                   5) LED Status indicators.
                   6) VISI-RAMP output indicator (standard on 150Hp and larger)
  CONTROL OUTPUTS:-Seal Contact and End-of-Ramp Auxiliary Contacts standard on all units.
   COST EFFECTIVE:-Low unit cost, low installation cost, no regular maintenance required,
                   no mechanical parts to wear out or replace.
